This is used to capture graphical
or image data. There are two types of
scanners, the hand and the table or flatbed scanner.

When you want to put your picture
into the computer you need a scanner to capture it. The hand scanner is pulled over the image
manually, whereas the table scanner is like a photocopier, and automatically
pulls the sensors over the image.
