Memory Storage Devices

Keeping information for later use is one of the most important tasks when one is operating a computer.  It is therefore necessary that one understands the different types of storage devices. 

 

These devices store information permanently and they are part of secondary memory:

Hard Disks

  Floppy Disks

  Data Cartridges

  CD-ROM

  Zip Disk

  Magnetic tapes
